They are oddly done since the input is on one side and all the controls are on the top.

it's the reason I didn't do that to the 212 that I got.

yeah i know that part...im just wondering if its easy to take off.

Im thinking of shipping, and i could always take the head and later on get it built on top of a vertical 2x12 cab or something similar...

they seem to sound pretty good right?

Sound good, but they just too low in volume for my tastes.

I have a alpha 112 and was wondering how did the external Jack you were going to install work out? Just wondering I was wanting to connect to a sunn cab. The back of the amp has accessories but I'm guessing that's for effects. Any help would be appreciated

Alpha 112

Postby frigid midget » Tue Apr 18, 2017 3:29 pm

Was gonna do a search on the Alpha 112 , happend to run into this thread...

So I don't suppose anyone knows where I could find a clip that's recorded a bit better than what I found on youtube so far? Can't seem to find anything that can convince me to trade my tt for one, which I was considering, purely based on the fact that I'd get a little cash in the trade. So can it sound half decent at low/medium volumes (living room), using a bunch of fuzz peds?

samzadgan : did you end up converting one of these into a head yet? I have been considering doing the same thing (for the same reasons, shipping). Would be cool to see some picks of the final too if you did it.

One of these as a "flip top" head in a bigger (15"?) cabinet might be rad.
