:thumb: They kinda are!!

But I know we don't have to classify certain tattoos as doom tattoos. Though my tattoos (birds, trees) definitely wouldn't fit. (Hey, I DO have an albaross...)

I just really needed an excuse to post that wizard tat, and obviously this was the forum for it! Haha.

I always said that!
But then I got tattooed a lot from 22-25. Two large pieces (left chest and ribs, and right shoulder and 1/3rd arm).

I liked the idea of having some quality tattoos, especially since I'm analytical/rational and don't do things like get tattoos. I found a great artist, and I guess I didn't have anything better to do with my money at the time.

I don't regret getting them (I didn't get regrettable things: two scenes, with trees, birds, rain, a buoy, a satellite). I really like them. But would I get them again, if I could go back? Probably not, just for the sake of not spending the money. I won't be getting any more, except for maintaining the ones I have.

Anyone in the Maryland area know a good artist or shop? I have been itching for more art but I don't know where to even start.

I do, I'll have to find out what shop he's at right now but his name is James Haun (of Ol' Scratch / Sourvein fame). Amazing artist, and huge doom head. Plus he own's at least two vintage model T's and a huge amount of vintage Sunn cabs, me and him had the first two custom BAT dual pedals (his was a pharaoh and a RAT called the Gemini)

Jason Reeder at Yours Truly Tattoo. He also tattoos at Little Vinnies. He's been doing my tattoos for years and has been featured in ITA magazine. http://www.jasonreeder.com

These aren't doom, but its the latest ones I have. Starting on my Star Wars leg sleeve:

He'd only been out of his apprenticeship for a few months when I got this one:
