Not mine and I don't know the seller. If anyone's looking for one that sure seems like a great price.

what's the story behind these amps?
on the chassis it says "rebuilt" what kind of amp was it originally?
i'm seeing them around quite a bit.

From what I understand a lot of them are Jet City amps that were repurposed and rebuilt as vicious killing machines sent from the future to tear down this house

That's my listing in the B/S/T thread. Might be a possible deal pending.

However, I thought I'd add a bit of info about the Hovercraft stuff. Seems like most of the amps they offer are "re-built" Jet City and Peavey amps. The Dwarvenaut is based on a Jet City 20 watt head. Some of the higher wattage heads are re-built Peavey Windsors. I'm not sure of all of the specific mods that are performed, but compared to the stock JC amp, the Hovercraft has a lot more gain, bottom end and more control over the presence and resonance.

The one I have has an added "FAC" control and is voiced like an old Orange, but I think they build some that are voiced like Marshalls as well.

I believe there's only one guy involved with the company...can't remember his name at the moment. He builds amps in small batches and does most of his marketing through his facebook page. Seems like a decent dude from what I've heard. I just happened to find my amp used and decided to check it out. No complaints or issues with the amp...just have too much other gear and thinning out the herd at the moment.

Pretty cool amps for those who live on the fuzzier, doomier side of the tracks.

I have one and I love it. You can't beat the price and they sound killer. I don't know about this one but mine has way more low end than any other amp I've ever tried.

The main thing is that the guy who builds these is into downtuned, doom type music so what sounded great to him when he built my amp sounds great to me now when I play through it.

I've been following these for awhile now. They seem very good for the price and he definitely moving them by the handful. Lots of hybrid combo circuit tweaking seems to be going on from what I can tell from his descriptions of what the amps sound like.
I've still yet to try one but I haven't seen any bad reviews yet.
