My band is called Drop Electric, we're more shoegaze / electronica with some dreaminess thrown in but we def got some heavies thrown in there.

Oh shit thanks dude! Yeah that was before I joined clagg. We played up there late last year with Shelfin and we'll be back up again for doomsday towards the end of this year I hope!

And deathmonkey, more sci-fi concept albums! Dune is just about my favorite book. You guys considered any Asimov?

So we got kind of stupid and decided that we are doing a dune trilogy.... I'm not sure who we have planned after that. Since our name is from the dune universe, we figured we would put the most effort into that. There was some debate of Asimov, Stanislaw Lem's Solaris, Haruki Murakami, Or even William Gibson for what to do next. . We are all huge nerds and make sure we read the books leading up to the line.

that rules. Do an album about God Emperor of Dune and make it just completely whacked out and full of drugs, like the book itself is.
Iommic Pope, nah we don't do that cover anymore. There was talk of new lineup = new cover but we haven't been able to settle on anything ridiculous enough (I wanted to do an Unsane song. Or Manowar).

dase, Unsane are awesome, but you guys should seriously pick an old Oz rock song, like "Shylock" by Buffalo...fuck even sludge the arse out of a John Farnham song.

Dase, yeah that's true, it's hard to pick good covers that aren't obvious/put too much of your heart on your sleeve. Personally, I dig a pisstake cover here and there. Are you guys working on new material right now?
