Just narrowly missed picking up a Randall RB-120 yesterday for $80, someone else swooped in on it before I could finalize the sale. :grumpy:

Those look rad. My whole thinking about downsizing to a combo is that it's good enough for Uncle Acid, so it's good enough for me. Turns out that ToeTag made some amps for them.

Unfortunately, they will probably be a little out of my price range for current purposes, but give me something to pine over in the mean time :doom:

Mmmmm that is saucy. While I can't really argue the point, I do dig most of the tones on Mind Control.

I find it to be fairly rare that I disagree with you so strongly. It kind of stings a little more when it's you saying these things.

Also, they weren't using combos when I saw them live. I think it was old Marshalls, but it's been quite a while.

i mean...i really don't know what to say to that...i think they are one of the only bands that i actually took notice of their guitar tone...most other bands kinda just melt into the generic "doom" tone.

Just gave them another listen, and that comment might have been long on sauce but short on fact.

Still not a huge fan of the songs, but there are same rad tones on that record

The songs are hit and miss...much like electric wizard...but yeah tones are cool.

You seeing any cool bands in London-town?

So ya super busy gig schedule. Also potentially big lifestyle news on the way but going to keep it chill until confirmed.

Okay. You can come back inside now. I actually like the songs too. Not really the most mind blowing concept, but most bands, even great bands aren't. But I think it's really well done.

Glad London is going so good.

Interesting. I had read somewhere the main dude played a 5e3 style amp. Maybe they recorded with it at one point or something. Jealous you had the chance to see them live, I'd love the chance to catch them.

Long on the sauce is one of my new favorite phrases.

Glad to hear that you're still digging London.
