Overview of the 1 knob, 1 Switch Pedals:

I will building four 1 knob, 1 switch pedals for sale in the upcoming month. There will be a Boost (based on the boost circuit in the FZ2 adapted for different transistors), a Fuzz (based on the FuzzThrone), a Distortion (based on the Volt Thrower), and an Overdrive (based on the DA120 OD)

Plenty of additional photos including guts here:

Prices for the pedals will be as following:

Boost: $150 + ship
Fuzz: $160 + ship
Distortion: $170 + ship
Overdrive: $175 + ship

As I have stated in the ILF Doom Room, if you are interested in getting one of these pedals, please PM me your email and the desired pedal. I will be doing 30 total units soon (any combination of pedals) so I may not have extras of any floating around.

Price is being determined by the type of pedal and the cost to build each pedal. As I have done in the past they will be up via a preorder, so it will have a bit of a timeline from paying in to the preorder to shipping. All pedals will be etched by Chris (Handsome Beard), they will all be 125B sized enclosures with side jacks (top DC jack), no batteries, black 1.25" aluminum knobs, and green LEDs (no exceptions to these on the preorder). More details as I get this moving.

So far 3/4 have been prototyped with the Overdrive coming up on the prototype block soon.

Each pedal has some number of internal trimmers:

Boost: Bias.
Fuzz: Tone.
Distortion: Gain, Bass, and Treble.
Overdrive: Bass and Gain.

This was done to allow for adjustments (set it and forget it style) and the number of trimmers depends upon the type of pedal. Boosts and Fuzz generally can be 1 knob pedals without much fuss but most people want to fine tune a distortion pedal (hence the increased number of trimmers). Also since these pedals are reductions of the larger designs (minus the Boost), I wanted some functionality to carry over.

Each pedal also has a switch on the front:

Boost: Mode: Sets maximum range of gain
Fuzz: Presence: Adds/Subtracts a little bit of top end for different treble response
Distortion: Boost: Adds more gain
Overdrive: Depth: Adjusts input cap value for more or less input low end.
Here is a video demo of the distortion and boost (got cutoff before I could do the fuzz). Official demos will be done by Corey Young and will be posted here as soon as they go live.

Hey Nick, don't know if you'll check here, but can you tell me if the Fuzz Throne has more control over the tightness of the bottom end than the one knob fuzz?
I love my one knob but if I can get more chugs I might upgrade.
