The Volt Thrower is a highly modified RAT which has the following features: 6 Clipping Options, Bass and Treble EQ, and ability to run at 18-36V

The EQ is a passive baxandall/james EQ which allows users to cut or boost bass and treble. The 6 clipping options are as follows: LED Lo, LED Hi, Si Lo, Si High, Ge, None. Hi and Lo refer to the level of gain. All modes except None operate with asymmetric clipping. The Ge mode is the least gainy (except for None) unlike other Ge modes found in other pedals. The different operating voltages depend on the power supply used, if a 9V supply is used 18V mode is operated with internal power conversion. If an 18V supply is used 36V mode is operated with internal power conversion. The total output in 36V mode can easily drive a SS power amp. The overall circuit has increased bass clipping, with the general idea that this would be used as a bass pedal but will easily work with guitar as well.

I have a Dan Electrode, Danelectro DA4 Variable Mode 9V 400mA Power Supply. Would this play nice with the Volt Thrower? How would they interact?

VT has been working with every supply I have used, even generic EHX type wall warts

Yo! I got lucky and picked one up used. Just want to say I'm really impressed, not only with the distortion toanz, but with the Baxandall EQ. Using it last in line with my other dirt and it plays so nicely with my other stuff. I'm really in love with it. Great for stacking, great for coaxing different sounds out of my other pedals and of course great by itself!

Been rocking my VT125B since i got it about a week or so ago. Crushingly great box. Huge, juicy low end. Great EQ. That Fuzz Throne is really tempting me, but gotta hold off unless I sell some pedals I have on Reverb right now.
