Status of Amp: In Production
The Wizard is a hi gain amp that in conception was designed to deliver stoner/doom type tones without the need of any pedals in front of the amp. The basic circuit idea is to take Matamp/Orange preamp, add in more gain stages, and combine that with a Marshall/Sunn style phase inverter and output stage. I also include a tube buffered fx loop that has in the original 2 units included onboard effects built into the amp (delay/verb and trem/verb respectively) but could also be converted to just a regular fx loop.
The amp has a passive james/baxandall EQ, with a 12 position Depth/FAC control, Master Volume, and Presence and Resonance.
