The basis idea is that Skip wanted a super clean amp @ 200W. It has practically no amp break up throughout the volume sweep. Preamp is based around a Matamp type design but gain is very much detuned with a tube buffered FX loop. The phase inverter is close to an Ampeg SVT with small additions such as a Resonance controls and Vox-style hi cut control instead of a traditional presence. Class AB2 operation with ECC99 direct coupling to the power tubes for additional power and resistance against blocking distortion. Operates in either Pentode or UL via switch. Passive James EQ with Shift control, 12 Position Depth/FAC. Boost control for additional drive into the phase inverter. Quad of KT88s, and I believe the plate voltage was around 520-540ish

Would it be a faux pas to ask what's being paid for these amps?

Are the symbols on the control panel from the movie Hangar 18 or are they cuneiform or something?

They are cuneiform, in keeping with the Sumerian / Akkadian theme (I'm an "Ancient Alien Theorist" :thumb: ) I wanted symbols that matched the Ideaology of the Annunaki. Nick found the font and designed the faceplate plate, came out way better then I ever hoped.
