Attach the bottom of the R10 resistor to the middle lug of the volume control.

Drod added a switch and pot to bypass this mod and also blend in the stock signal. You can do that too by cutting the wire and adding a switch and/or pot.

Edit:

There is a huge volume boost by doing this mod.

Hi Crootte,

we may have some more closer to Christmas this year. If you want a used one before that maybe try reverb.com etc.

Thanks!

So I finally got an expression pedal -- one of the DOD Mini-expressions -- and it doesn't seem to work on any of its settings with my Your and You're. Am I missing something? It does work with my CT5, so I don't think its the pedal.

Just wanted to say that Your & You're is easily one of my favorite pedals. Sending that crazy expressionated fuzz into any number of sound twisting pedals is just magic. That is all. Carry on.

Interesting discovery this morning. Y&Y sounds identical to the fuzz on the Elta 4046 PLL...like IDENTICAL! Kicking on the multiplier gives you the same sound as sweeping expression on the tone for Y&Y...granted the Elta has more PLL artifacts. Was playing w the Elta and laid a loop down and then kicked on Y&Y amd was amazed at the tonal similarity.

What are the sonic fingerprint overlaps (if at any) between the sound/texture of Y&Y and PURPLL?
I mean... other than how both pedals were made by Scott Monk's fingers.

They don't sound anything like each other to me. I don't get a fuzz at all with PurPLL. I love PurPLL so much. It is so usable. The Elta PLL is kind of like a synth stompbox with a few presets since you can turn voicings on and off (like the PurPLL). The Elta has a dedicated fuzz though and that can dial in a spot on Y&Y. I haven't tried an expression w PurPLL, but use one with Y&Y and sweeping Y&Y definitely catches the same vibe as the Elta's fuzz with multiplier.
