Count to five firmware update. Plz, want. Here's my cringeworthy promo video featuring my beloved ct5. Keep in mind, it's for a corporate gig. But the tones from the ct5 are the best part of the vid. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MT1KKwA882M

Has anyone else experienced a problem with their CT5 wherein kicking it on kills the sound completely? I turn it on, everything goes quiet, turn it off, everything's still dead, click it on again and it's back to normal.

Mine came with a busted Q switch out of the box, so I'm wondering if it's maybe just a cursed unit. It does make some great sounds though.

Nope, not normal.

Get in touch with Scott, he'll make it right in time.

umm. i think my ct5 did something similarly stupid yesterday but that was probably me just not hitting the footswitches in the right order.

Yeah, it's an intermittent issue and I thought it might be due to some weirdness with how the two switches interact; i've had the pedal for a few months and it hadn't happened until yesterday (when it did it three or four times during the hour or two I was using it). I'll drop Scott a line.

I can't remember off the top of my head, but aren't the boards connected via ribbon cable inside? Maybe make sure those are firmly in. Kicking may cause the cable to come loose.

Hey, new to this forum and not really sure if this is the right place to ask, but does anyone know if there is any word on updates that will save the Q state, transcendence state, and filter (in mode 1) through power cycling? If that's even possible.

 I wouldn't put too much stock in their stupid sales rankings (and I know you really don't).

Count To Five is still the most popular Count To Five on Reverb. :snax:

Dont worry. There are guys with granite countertops who are in bands that are changing their sound, and c., that are scalping and flipping day-in and day-out to make top 10 a reality. [sarcasm emoticon]

Bike backwards and you get a reverse delay.

That guy. I've written messages in varying tones of disgust to him and a few others asking them to justify their gross price inflations. "The free market," etc., etc. – Yeah, have at it. But when the numbers reach multiples of a pedal's original price – a pedal that won't be "RARE!" and "SOLD OUT!" when more are made, which they will be – it just gets ridiculous and sucks the fun out of the gear trade. Waiting for chumps with more money than sense and/or low impulse control to stumble upon your Reverb ad isn't a good investment strategy – it's weak and shameful. You did nothing to "earn" your profit besides press a few keys faster than someone else. I'm sure some of those guys are here, and I hope you have to eat those pedals part by part before you sell them.

Release the new batch, Scott, and bring those jerks back to reality. Any hint as to the date?
