One other note, i tried to use the CTF with this Fostex portable mixer, effects loop.
Had some issues with the pedal powering before i tried it, i don't know if that had anything to do with it ?

Did you run it on the same daisy chain as the mixer? It's center positive instead of center negative. Only thing I can think of that could mess up the Ct5 with that mixer.

I did not really consider the polarity issue as i ran The Fostex mixer stand alone powered with a 9v battery. Separate power was ran to the pedal.

So this is my set up - Boss CS-3 / CTF / Phil Jones Double Four all running off the
Pilot Pro 2 (23000 mAh).
The CTF and CS3 both usb with one spot reverse polarity adaptor,19v for the Double Four.
I have run it this way several times with no problem.
I incorporated the Fostex portable mixer in this mix with the intent to use the effect loop, using the Mixer with it's own 9v battery power, could this have damaged the pedal? if so how?
I have had experiences where the CTF cut out on me due to a loose dc connection, (you can hear it in one of the videos i posted)
i don't know if the power supply jack is stable? Please advise....Thanks

Does it work with any other power supplies?
If it doesn't work with just that power supply, there's a problem with the power supply.

It's not working with any of my power adaptors now, All of them worked fine before.
The led is not working, i'm getting a signal in bypass? but when i press the switch,no effects?
I went out a got a multimeter as i am desperate to find the answer, i NEED this pedal to work!
I don't think i can go much deeper as i don't want to risk doing any damage to the inner workings of the pedal, i just....i'm determined to find out why it's not working! Tried again to contact Scott but i'm getting no reply? The pedal has been working Great, i just don't see how this could have happened? i tried to use it in the effects loop of a portable mixer and had the power supplies separated , could this have caused the failure? the mixer being different polarity but Not hooked up to the same power source?

So.... i'm left with 3 options
1. Try to fix it
2. Send it back for repair
3. Buy a Red Panda Particle, and hope that i can come close to the Vibe i've created with this awesome pedal.

Please advise
Thanks

Do not try and fix it yourself. You may do more damage than it already may have, and you may screw yourself for future repairs.

It is unlikely that the mixer had anything to do with it. The signal in bypass is because you are bypassing the pedal, that is analog and needs no power.

Wait for Scott to answer, he will have a clearer idea what is going on. He is busy and can't respond to every email quickly.

Hope you get this sorted soon.

Def wait for Scott. But the reason you weren't getting continuity on those top three lugs is because of how the switch was flipped at that moment.

Hi

sorry i am behind on emails a bit right now.

from the first yt video it looks like the pedal is shorting because the LED on your supply is flashing when the ct5 is in, likely indicating a problem/some sort of protection activated. If you are in Japan im not sure if we can get you one in 5 days but i will email you back momentarily.
