Custom Work - Open!

Custom Work - Open!

Postby Rygot » Fri Nov 02, 2012 10:42 am

Now that a good handful of my prototyping and troubleshooting is now finished, I'm opening custom orders back up.

Whatever insane idea you might have, approach me about it and we'll talk. I've got no problem working out every specific minute detail -- its your pedal.

I'll temporarily update this thread with previous and up to date custom work.
Unfortunately I've been pretty bad about documenting a lot of builds so a good handful of previous custom work may not appear here.

Dual Germanium Fuzz Face - NKT275s and AC128s - Bias, Volume, and Gain for each.
Wish I had a better picture of it, finished in a "purple haze" powder coat.

Pretty Obvious - AC128s - Had a little fun with the eyelet board.
Saw this floating around on the BST a while back... as Spunkz pointed out, I ran the power through a caterpillar.

Robot Pterodactyl Deathmatch - Shin-Ei FY-2/Green Ringer - FY-2 has an added 2 knob tone stack plus an internal mids trim pot... an obnoxious one.
Not too many good gutshots of it, so enjoy the trim pot.

SWAG - Civil War Muff - Added bass cut knob, tone stack bypass toggle, oscillation footswitch - Brought the AM-radio muff toanz.
I never got a decent picture of the finish - Here is one before I had everything finished on the inside... so it looks the same minus LEDs.

Tiny tiny Sam Ash Fuzz/Astrotone - Eyelet board, enclosed jacks and three full size pots in a tiny enclosure. Rather stupid actually.

DOD 440 Based Filter - Controls for resonance, attack time, decay time, sensitivity and volume. Extra deep sweep toggle. Toggle to change treadle control: Either manual sweep or treadle controls the starting point of the auto sweep.
Also has a jack for a small expression box containing a pulsing LED/LDR Combo with a toggle to activate an external LDR for manual light control. Replaces the treadle when plugged in.

One of my favorite builds to date...

One of my dudes still has it somewhere, I can do a quick clip of it here soon.

Its really more of an overdrive that can be pushed to fuzz territory IMO, pretty focused.
Then again I'm not sure what piew piew fsiough sounds like.

Oh, it's all in my head. Think of lasers being fired and then something moving through space really fast and you have piew piew fsiough.
Got a combined overdrive and fuzz in the mail so no need for a demo then, was hoping for some space sounds.
