Good eye!
It plays nice, did a bit of fret dressing after initial assembly, now its great, no dead spots, bridge is right where it needs to be for easy intonation, balances well, only major teething issue was getting the tension right on the trem.

Thanks man. I am currently in the process of discovering the joys of working with aluminum.

Been working on this for a while. I hope to finish it soon but I need to cut a better pickguard or get a custom one made. And I can't decide to put a tele or jag pickup in the neck position. And despite being a mash up of two short scale guitars it is actually 25.5"

Reshaped the neck and it's all torn apart right now while I figure out how to mount one of my modded. trems on it. Body has been ordered, going with an SG shape again. I';; have to remove some alum off the shape that it's in now. Waiting till the body blank shows up so I can work it all out with the pieces that will be used. This is going to work, just not sure how yet :lol:

A science experiment. I'm hotroding/Industrialising/steampunking my Epi Gothic LP… this is to cover up where the neck pickup would be.. it's in a lid of water to turn it green :lol:

@Karmablock: That looks awesome.

This is the year I'm going to finish up my fanned fretless drop 6 bastard child.

I just need to drill holes for the tuning heads, pull the frets, fill the fretholes, sand errything to hell, probably redo the body finish, maybe drop in some new pups, get new strings, mark the frets clearly, then refinish errything again.

It's like, a month long project that I've made into a year long endeavor because of poverty.

I discovered that cheap clothes bleach can be used to remove a lot of the stain from a guitar body. I suppose you could get super badass bleach from a pool supply place, or actual "wood bleach", but I'm on the spend-no-money budget.
Anyway, it whitened a majority of the body but left some areas green, so I thought fuck it; I'm not up for sanding again and if this doesn't turn out cool, I'll just spray the body OD green.
I mixed some green and extra dark walnut dye together and NOW I HAVE A MOSSY WOOD FINISH HELL YEAH

Thanks guys, I"m stoked on it. Currently on its fourth coat of Tru-oil, but I forgot to shake the bottle up last time so it's taking all day for this coat to dry.

Go for it mang. The bleach seemed to be more effective when I saturated the wood with it for like 5 minutes and rubbed it in, then let it dry. I did that a few times. Then, to keep the bleach from drying the fuck out of the body, you gotta wipe it pretty thoroughly with a 50/50 white vinegar/water mixture.
