Albert:
I found this white plywood, Japanese V body in a shop in glendale AZ along with a Teisco neck and body. I traded the Teisco parts to Subway guitars in Berkley CA for the neck, tuners and the neck pickup which is no longer there... This was before I started doing my own thing and was put together by Pete at Guitarorama in Oakland in 97 tuned BEADGB.

I have since modded it with a Gretsch neck pickup and I re-wired it to that of a normal V control layout.

Mahogany Body, cherry and padauk neck, rosewood fretboard, Seymour duncan pickup.
Second bass I ever made. I contoured the body a few years after it was made...

Mahogany and oak body, padauk neck with ebony fretboard, Seymour duncan pickups. The idea was to make a tele with a 3/4 size body.
I made this for a friend who wanted a light tele.
