OXIDE...why no thread?

I have had an Oxide in the past. I have another on the way :!!!: When I got my first Oxide I really dug it but I just had to go check out other pedals. I have played/owned enough fuzz pedals to know that I need that Oxide ANGER back in my life. It is funny, a lot of pedals that I havae owned before are back or on their way back, 3 of them are IE (QF2, Oxide, Xero DLX).

I just noticed no thread was dedicated to Oxide love, that is all.

oxide is high on my list, and you're not helping me tame the gas.

Me too. Trying to work out if I want a Dr Sci Frazz or an Oxide first. ARGH! Kayzer's demos don't help - both sound rad.

That is a hard call, I have played a Frazz before but not on my big rig. I love Dr Sci pedals.
But I just got my Oxide and IT FUCKING ROCKS!
I would say the Oxide has a few more sounds on board and a bit more MEAN.

Yeah, Deltz and I have been going parallel and together on the fuzz quests. I had the Oxide and TAFM to start off with. Went to a bunch of other MONSTER fuzzes. Expensive fuzzes. The whole gamut. There's other things that can just overpower and destroy stuff......but the Oxide is just damn useful. Actually usable in a band setting. I'm back to the Oxide and TAFM combo and that's where I plan to keep it for the very foreseeable future.

I have been looking forward to getting this pedal for a while now, and it should be getting here tomorrow!
Hopefully it will be everything I have heard in demos...

Welp, I got it today, and all I have to say is HOW CAN ANYONE ACTUALLY SELL THIS PEDAL?

This sounds waaaaaaay better in person, the controls are all useful and have a whole lot of (great) sounds that are easily accessible AND it looks freaking badass. My only regret is that mine doesn't have top jacks.

Yeah, basically most of the people in this thread and possibly the majority of users. No worries there.

Its only my first time with the TAFM but I know it'll never go anywhere. I am lusting after an Oxide though, so its nice to know that a) I'm not alone, and b) it is a great combo with the TAFM. Gotta keep my eyes open for one...
