Here's my next guitar. I ordered it… but still waiting for the CITES paperwork (due to the rosewood fretboard) so they can ship it. It has McNelly Stagger Swagger pickups. Can't wait to get this here!!!

Love that body shape. It's a nice twist on the Fender offset shapes to have the lower horn extended out a bit more. Very cool.

Awesome Syl, that looks stupid good. I was just wondering if you'd ever got your new guitar, glad to see you should be getting it soon.

We've been waiting for the CITES paperwork since May 27th. So I guess they will review the documents soon. I's a pain to wait that long.

After a wait of six months... I'm still waiting for the CITES certificate (for the rosewood) from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
The guitar won't ship without that certificate. That's why most compagny will stop shipping guitars that contain rosewood outside of there contry.

bummer. i have my eye on a 60s German guitar on eBay, but beyond the somewhat exorbitant cost the CITES thing worries me. i can't afford to spend 700 euros on a guitar that might be confiscated by Customs.

Because it's an older guitar, dubs, I think it'll be fine. Doubt they'd confiscate it. It'll just need the proper paperwork.
