Not nearly as exotic as the other things in this thread, but I'm pretty obsessed with the idea of a mandocello or a baritone tenor guitar lately. I wish there were more options other than the Eastwoods:

Does Eastman have a bad rep?

Not sure about Eastman and they actually do have a beautiful mandocello, but it's way outside my budget:

On the other hand, I've heard mixed reviews about Eastwood. I don't have a specific complaint about them, I just wish there were more options in that price range so I could actually compare different models
