why would you fuck up the fingerboard like that and leave the headstock pale and unmolested? and what the actual fuck is that bridge-and-tailpiece, erm, system???

Dat pickup is great, but the use case lacks righteousness (preaching to the choir).
I get that some people like a relic'd look, but shouldn't it at least minimally look like it was played? That just looks like it was sitting *underneath* the dock of the bay (with it's headstock in the air pocket) for a while

I just can't understand what's the point of doing something like that.
Besides the horrible aesthetics, what's that suppose to do to sound?

Man I have no idea what's happening in that pickup route. I thought it was a weird handmade pickup housing but it's two pots and some fairy magic

Yeah, volume and tone pots mounted by the pickup. Not very accessible. "Tone button" on the pickguard.
No idea what the builder was thinking.
Probably less sustain than usual due to that trapeze tailpiece. It's just a weird homemade guitar.

Wait, those are the volume and tone pots under the pickup? I've been trying to figure out what those were, but I couldn't

Wow, I must have missed those when I checked out the posting earlier. But, seriously, why? Those are so inconvenient!

I kinda like that guitar, it's charmingly odd
I'm drawn to the DIY roller pots.
They're dreaming if they seriously expect $2000 though.

I like the idea of DIY roller pots, but would prefer them somewhere accessible, not under the strings
