I have a Dano 12 string hollowbody that I picked up for cheap last month and have really beat on since I got it. It's surprisingly taken my abuse, metal pick and all. I love it. Lipsticks have been one of my favorite pickups for a while, and they really bring the chime out.

I bought a Cozart for $130 and I'm totally into it.

What are the pickups like on that? Looks incredible. I've been obsessed with flesh world lately and want a 12 string for my rhythm playing.

Well, I've never had an issue with them. And that's kind of how I qualify pickups. Not too loud, not too quiet, not too muddy, not too trebly. It's also played nicely with all my other gear, so I guess they're good! You can also coil tap them, and the single coil settings are not anemic like you get sometimes.

Drool, I tried one of those and loved it. But I didn't want to spend $450 hence why I went the Cozart route. Arto Lindsay uses 12 String Danos though and he makes awesome sounds.

Arto's use of a guitar does not really rely on an instrument being able to stay in tune or any other usual pre-requisites though :-)
I saw him once live in Belgium without prior knowing what his music was about and was blown away. So many people left the gig that at the end we were only a handful and had a great experience.

His models and some of the silver tones he uses are way junky! That model of dano you have plays like a dream. If I ever get a shoulder injury the first guitar I would buy is a dano cause they're like...nothing... on you.
