Yea, this was a six string no-name guitar that held me over after I trashed the headstock on the first and only guitar I've ever had experience a headstock break.

Didn't know at the time you could fix such things...so...

Everyone has to start somewhere.. I still buy no name shit to butcher, if the idea works cool, if not it's art/firewood :lol:

Yep. I learned a lot butchering that guitar over time. It stayed playable despite my best efforts, was gifted to a friend when I left the city since he ended up using it far more than me!

I know this is about filling, but is everyone heating the frets to pull them out?

also: Any nut adjustments needed.

I got an old Teisco single pickup at a thrift shop and this might make my list of ways to butcher it

I would *strongly* recommend it.

You can just yank 'em out but you're going to chip the board (have a possibility of doing it anyway without the right tools, and even some slight chance with).
