Shamelessly spamming this 'cause I finally have a music setup again!

The left one's a 60's Decca(which I think is really just Teisco) featuring the 30" scale bass neck from my doubleneck monstrosity. The right is a 1965 Harmony Archtone with, again, that guitar's salvaged pickup. Sounds cool tuned to B-F#-B-E-F#-C. It's getting a cheap Bigsby copy for the gaaaaaaaaze.

definitely some Guyatone DNA there.

Back on an SG - just works for me. 120th Anni Standard, stock except robot tuners replaced with Klusons.
Maybe partying will help.

I can't imagine an SG with robot tuners, did they make the headstock even more off balance?

ha, i was wrong - this particular model came with Klusons - I guess the 120 annis were the only SGs that year that didn't have robot tuners.
previous owner did put 57 Classics in, though - I thought those were stock with the annis, but naw - 490T and 490R were standard.
Maybe partying will help.

Rad. I've always liked the white 'n gold look on a Jazzmasters.

My "totally a legit $27 Bigsby" arrived today!

I'm shocked at how well it works and at its overall construction. I ran the strings over the front roller and it somehow manages to stay in tune better than any other vibrato I've messed with.
Other stuff I did:
-Filed down the posts that the string ball ends thread onto 'cause they were contacting the guitar
-Filed away the raised part that keeps the arm from swinging in either direction
-Cut a couple of coils off of the spring to stiffen it a little and then shimmed it up a bit.
It's a gaze machine now.

That’s great! Do you have a link to these “Bigsby’s?”

This is the one I got. There are others that are slightly more expensive but with faster shipping :idk:
