Actually not a bad guitar.

So, I've had one of these lying around out of use for four years, so today I decided to fix it up, as it's extended scale length coupled with some heavy strings allowed me to explore a B tuning I'd been messing around with on my acoustic. I was actually pretty surprised by it. I got this thing years ago, long before I heard about the band, Cold, that it's apparently a signature model for. They are pretty lame. The guitar however is very nice, and handles the tuning like a dream.

I'm probably going to be at it a lot more now, so if anybody has any suggestions as to what to do with the (very lame) spider man inlays, and any insight into pickups that sound particularly decent and clear on low tuned mahogany guitars, I'd be pleased as punch.
I play.

aw, i think the spiders are kind of cute. you could always try dyeing the fingerboard with the black "ebonizing" dye which might darken up the inlay some; the problem is that if it doesn't work, they'll stand out even more LOL.

Something like a Painkiller or Aftermath. These are supposed to be very good, which they should be for the money. If memory serves Gunner Recall has Bare Knuckles so he can chime in. I might get one of those sets if I decide my new baritone needs a pickup upgrade.

I actually use fingerstyle and stuff most of the time, some of those look like pretty metal oriented pickups. But there was one in their vintage hot range that looked verynice, might be just the ticket. I like getting links here, because more often than not the product descriptions detail not only the exact things I'm looking for, but usually have a few added kickers to go with them.

"The Black Dog humbuckers are also particularly good at providing extra definition and punch to extended scale guitars. Seven string and baritone guitars benefit from better control of the highs and increased definition in the bass."
