NGD: 1975 Epiphone Crestwood

Postby Ghost Hip » Sat Jul 02, 2011 11:58 pm

After the cold 3 week wait due to Canada's postal strike... the package finally came today, just in time for a jam session with friends!

First off, it's great to finally have some humbuckers to play with. I haven't had any humbucker love in my arsenal for two years or so. Sweet sweet controllable feedback. Raw Nirvana sex on the bridge pick up and sludgy fuzz sex on the neck pick up. Also my first guitar that's older than I am. :joy:

Here's how it sounds!

Here's how it looks!

Epiphone had some killer guitars back in the day! Very rock 'n roll.

That's a good feeling. Both of my basses are older than me, and your Epi is as old as my Gib! Sounds great too.

I want one that's from the same year as I am.

That would be pretty rad. Closest I've gotten to my birth year 1990 is my duo sonic... which is probably a 93 or something.

Side note: I didn't know how sick I was of single coils/p-90s until I played this. :omg:
