T'other weird thing about my LP Faded Special is that it got me to prefer dot inlays over any other type. When I first got into guitars, I went nutz over various block inlays, but never liked the dots. I guess I also thought that the Tele body was the ugliest sunovaboitch ever created, whilst now it is one of my favourites. I was really into Jaguards and Jazzmasturs with block inlays, just never got one. I've gotten so minimal with everything that dots are about all I can stand, haha.

That white SG up there is slick. I love easy white finishes on guitars. I've replaced the black witchhat knobs on mine with the puckish "speed" knobs, and although the difference is subtle, I dig it waymorelike.

I'm cool with dots on Gibsons with P-90s, but I do prefer that the neck still have binding. Just looks right to me, I guess. That said, that Tribute looks cool with dots and no binding, but I don't think it looks quite right in cherry or black like that. Brown, maybe.
Maybe partying will help.
