What kind of wait-list are we looking at? Any planned price increase coming soon?

Good question. I do not forsee any price increases coming any time soon. The only reason prices COULD increase would be if the cost of metal parts were to increase.
Wood prices have been low for a few years due to the depressed construction industry.
Wait times depend on what you are ordering. I have an order coming in for a custom Attache, and a custom Coquette bass. Those will get started late spring and should be ready to ship sometime this summer.
I work fairly quick.
Great questions!

At the moment is your stuff only available direct? Are you planning to distribute to any local music stores or anything? I understand that going direct helps you to keep the cost down, as well as making it easy for the consumer to get custom products, but I would love to be able to try out one of these guitars somewhere in my state (Ohio). I like the idea of your guitars not being sold at, say, Guitar Center, but I would love to see them at some cool independent music stores and not have to drive several hours just to try one.

I go back and forth on selling direct only or picking up dealers.
The obvious problem is that if I sell to dealers I either lose money to keep prices as they are, or the prices go up. To make it worth while for a dealer, and for it to be worthwhile for me, a guitar that I sell for $1200 would have to be about $1800.
It would be less hassle and cheaper to buy a guitar from me and try it out. Send it back if you don't like it. Then you are only out shipping which would be way less money than paying the necessary dealer mark up.

Fair enough. Makes sense to me.

This is probably obvious and un-necessary to mention but I am really passionate about keeping things as affordable as possible. Also since I am community driven I prefer the idea of being able to deal with each person and not just be a factory shipping "product" out to stores.

I like that idea, and honestly, that sort of business philosophy attracts me to your company as much as the product itself does.

The only bad thing about this is it means I can't try out one of your guitars until I'm able to get my wife to understand why I need to buy another guitar. :p

This is true, but as I always say "it's always easier to get forgiveness after than permission before"

I think this is a good rule of thumb when considering gear purchases! :thumb:
