I know this is blasphemy around this parts, but I pretty much only use my PY as a clean preamp these days, it sounds tasty. :snax: High pass set clean just to the point of resonance, high volume and the bias lowered, Instant Jukebox sound.

Mine has a really bad ringing problem even with no cable plugged into the input.
I've emailed Brian twice and messaged him on here with no response yet.

I've already replaced the tubes with little to no help and tried various power supplies.

Curious if anyone else had him look at there's for the ringing issue and if they know what he did to make it better?
Thanks.

oh shit, sorry i missed you dude! i just hit you back now. i'll check it out and can fix it up. those tubes are old and finicky and need to be sorted through to find ones that aren't so microphonic.

Just realized I haven't tried something I should have done months ago.
With the proposed setup currently in pieces and across town, I'm left musing "what if" so-
@Brian is it possible to link 2 PYs together with a basic TS [via CV] thereby slaving 1 to the other so 1's settings control both, without adding something like a Murf, 8step, Expressionator etc?

Seeing as CV only controls one knob, I'm going to go with no. That would be wicked though.

Right? It suddenly seems like such an obvious "what if-"
Dreamt up by thinking about a linked pair of 1176LN [which requires the special UA junction box]

Speaking of Euro.... PY is a beast in Euro. I use it more than the actual euro filter I have.

I'd love one in a euro format as well. I don't have anything right now, but it'd be fun as hell.
