There is really no other piece of gear I want other than a second Pretty Years. I just want them sitting on my mix bus

What's the answer to this question? I had some room somehow so I put this back on the board and it doesn't like the VL PP2+. It just turns itself on and off and on and off and..................

Been searching for the answer this morning, can't find anything.

I've powered mine with the 250mA tap from my pp2+. The normal 100mA taps probably aren't enough.

I thought 5 and 6 were 150ma? Either way, my PY doesn't like it

I'm guessing it's between 150-200 mA. I can split a 300 mA port on a Cioks DC5 and power both the PY and a Tonal Recall (150 mA) just fine. I'm willing to bet, though, that the Tonal Recall only needs that much current to boot up and then uses less in operation.

Seriously considering a tube preamp pedal as my next gear purchase. I wish Pretty Years was an option. :joy:

guys.....GUYS..... I finally tried it. I knew you could do it. you can use the PY as a synth :!!!:

NO INPUT on these clips. first one is straight V/O out the sv-1, second is an oscillator being FM'd by another FM'd oscillator :joy: EUREKA!!

Yea, all in all I've been using Pretty Years as a sound source CV sequenced by my sq-1. My gas for a second won't let up

I would take the fabled Superbuzzz if we can't have another PY run.
