I have an old Ibanez PQ-9 Parametric EQ that I use for this sort of thing. Works like a charm! Fuzzhugger Magic Meter is a GREAT one for eq'ing too.

Brian, thanks again. Great stuff as always!

And it is on my board! :success:
My bandmates love it. (Me too!)

Because people will inevitably come here looking for more advice.

LOW GAIN mode into more Gain from amp/different pedal sounds GOOD.

I play a Dual Rectifier. Crazy on ILF but it fits what I do. When I want to get really sludge-filled I can kick on the buzz and get way weird. I
ll try to post settings next time I'm at my practice space.

VOLUME is def at 10. Silicon Diodes. Low Gain switch.

although volume needs to be way up man. 2 o clock. yes.

bias just around 10 o clockish gives a really nice sag. there's a special setting right around 10-11. find it and you got yourself a big muffy sound.

Yeah -- I realize Buzzz isn't Muff based but being able to cop tat style of tone out of it was precisely what I needed.

Plus -- DAT OCTAVE

Anybody have a buffered pedal in front of their buzzz?

In the past it wasn't super interested in my Way Huge Green Rhino being in front. Got a great deal in The Elements (sorry Satan) - had to pick it up. Just wondering what others experiences have been.

Mine is usually first, but I thought I was alone in noticing its buffer unfriendliness!

elsewhere i had seen somebody say that it was fine for them.
maybe it's just the particular buffer?

i'm totally cool going buzzz --> elements as I doubt they'll often be on at the same time. just a curiosity.

It's mainly because I use the buzz with the guitar volume pot to clean up and that seems to work better without a buffer. Might be in my head though

run it this way anyway to clean blend in the buzzz with your elements signal :thumb:
