Got one coming back to me!!! Finally!! I'm so excited! I never got to properly run it through my main amp, so I'm very anxious to hear it there. Plus it will sound great with my current setup.

I kinda feel bad for keeping one on my board, I always want to play more with it than I do with my guitar.

I might move it to a tabletop setup once I have a microgranny. :excellent:

i don't feel bad at all, and the initial idea was to have it to run drumsounds/synths through it.

best sounding most awesome dirt pedal i've ever played, bar none. The elements does a better early metallica/slayer tone, but that's about it.

POTY 2016 by a landslide.
Also likely the fastest-selling pedal on reverb, yet omitted from their list as only a few have surfaced there. They all sold within 3hrs IIRC.

Note that with this list, I've omitted pedals where only a small handful sold in 2016 to try to keep the sample size meaningful.

reverb articles are incompletely researched and usually utter dribble.

I had a recording session this weekend and convinced my clients to run a drum machine through the Pretty Years instead of their Maxon overdrive :)*
We put it on a hi-pass, cutoff low, res high, and some sick FM. It's a total ambient track, then this sick fucked up drum machine enters out of nowhere and assaults the bass freqs with some filth.

I've said it before, but I find a place to use this in absolutely everything I record - it's quite likely this is my favorite pedal of all time.

This is the setting I posted in the Pretty Years hax thread last night  . I should run my Volca FM through this setting to see how it works out.

Yeah, I think I saw someone post a similar setting a few days ago as well. I haven't really directly referenced y'all's exact settings dial-wise, but I read 'em and spit back out whatever bits my spongebrain absorbs. I actually have filled out 4 of those preset sheets, but I don't think I've ever gone back and looked through them, which I totally need to do some time
