i think some sort of rendition of the red witch empress chorus would be far better than another small clone - clone. the empress is a phenomenal pedal, my favorite chorus by far. jamie, i think you could do wonders with the empress as a starting platform. maybe a simplified, but tighter version? or taken in the other direction, some more modulation could be interesting - i like the sound of your near flanging creation.

for anyone not familiar, here it is done up by andy:

Aha, now you're talking! The Empress is really cool as heard on the PGS clip.

I could see this being a chorus/flange in answer to the Grand Orbiter's phase/vibrato, and with a similar setup/level of complexity in terms of the controls. Jamie, have you had this in the ol' breadboard again?

+1 on basing it on the Redwitch

Also, make it have a Vibrato mode based off the VB-2

A chorus will come in one form or another by early next year. Thinking I should probably go analog with more wild sounds with no tappy tempo digital lfo bullshittery that everyone is heading to these days :) I'm back on a big dirt kick right now so we have a bunch of that coming out first.

Now you're talking m' man...I am always okay with dirt coming before chorus. So I am happy to sit tight on that until early next year. All analog will rock and I am positive this will be worth the wait.

About the new dirt kick you are on...this presents a new dilemma--wait for those or grab a Shank from the new run you mentioned in the other thread? Sigh...as if I need any more reasons to unload a little-used TS clone or two!
