That really was a great demo Bobby.

Any one else think this pedal could end up as one of the "greats" ?

Got mine two days ago.

This is THE pedal, ladies and germs. Forget your Tims and Centaurs and SHODS. The MANTRA is the best sounding and playing OD pedal available. Until you play it live, you will not understand the greatness of this pedal. Now that I've taken mine through the swamp dredging that I call guitar playing, I would have paid $500 for a MANTRA, easily.

Kyle et al, Excellent work!!!!!! w00t!!!

Damnit Bobby, you always gotta give me the GAS with these demos.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

i don't know how to put it into words.....

i have been suffering from "overdrive-itis" for a while now.

when i opened the box, i was thinking "oh great...another OD pedal...yawn"

but then i plugged it in, and was REWARDED.

i think it leans more towards the high gain side of things....but kyle sent me an email with some suggested lower gain settings, so i will do another demo tomorrow to explore the lower gain stylings of the Mantra.

the thing that really made me bond with the Mantra was the responsiveness and FEEL......for some reason, i just CONNECTED with the Mantra from the very first session.

i got some gigs this weekend, and will take the Mantra with me and try it with the band.
anyhow.....

WELL DONE KYLE! :thumb: :omg:

i like the Mantra a LOT.....now it has me eyeing up the Whetstone

i DID get the Whetstone...and did THREE demos of it :joy:

that thing gives me swirly WOOD.

demo #3 is all about the vibrato mode.......and with the vibrato mode going, low pass filter engaged, slow speed......it's like a Boards of Canada style thing going on.....REALLY cool.....

all three new demos at:

youtube.com/roccotanto

the Whetstone is REALLY good.....i love the options it gives you.

Me, too, Bobby. I think I love the higher gain settings. But the low gain is also so good that I might have to buy a second MANTRA, one for low OD and one for high OD. Although I am going to try use the Hermida Zendrive for the low gain end of the spectrum.

MANTRA! MANTRA! MANTRA! It's almost like a mantra, eh?

Also, Bobby, I like your vid demos. Keep up that good work, Mr. DeVito!
