Yeah, we love those guys. We've built a couple of Muskets for Jonathan and we're working on something custom for him at the moment.

Ooooooooooooo... any details on the custom jobbie? I loves me some Torche.
I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

It's a bass-tuned version of the upcoming Mantra pedal.

666 knobs of muff fuzz love! Sounds good to me... :thumb:

Will it be custom-only forever, or are you planning on doing a bass-friendly version of the Mantra as well at some point?

There is speculation about a tremolo or delay given the nature of the word mantra.
But bass tuned hmmm :idk:

<3 torche...they are playing central park with coheed/cirva survive this spring, I need to see if there are still tickets.
There are some that call me...morningstaru?

My friend went to that show for Circa Survive, and the next day came up to me and said "I didn't like Torche".

My only possible response was "Fuck you".

so, what's the pedal again?

“Last night in Chicago our van got broken into and a bunch of our equipment got stolen. Among the stolen equipment was both of Jon’s bass guitars (custom first act and custom electrical guitar company), our new guitar player’s custom guitar, Steve’s black les paul custom, Steve and Jon’s pedal boards, all our guitar stands, bags of cables and strings, and a bunch of personal bags that included check books, passports, IDs, etc etc…

Since 3 out of the 5 of us lost our passports, we won’t be able to play our shows in Canada now on May 18th and 19th. We’re trying to find anyone interested in setting up last minute house shows/small bar shows around the Northeast to try and make some extra money. The total of all our shit that got ripped off easily exceeds $10,000 and we just borrowed money to put a down payment on a new van before this trip, so we’re in a bad situation right now.

sucks.

AND THAN I WENT AWAY AND COULDNT SEE THEM AT THE HOUSE SHOW IN PHILLY THEY PLAYED THAT WEEKEND.

...but i saw floor... twice..

Steve is an awesome dude, i love his tone.

it blows about their gear. that was a huge bummer.
I've got a fuzzbox and i'm not afraid to use it

they were playing across the street from me last nite, and came over to have beers where i was playing.

i like them, but after they fired one of my best friends, Juan Montoya on guitar, i kinda lost interest.

FLOOR was awesome......i saw some of their shows in small clubs, they would BLOW THE DOORS off :joy:

i wish them nothing but success, but i think the way they screwed over Juan is gonna come back to haunt them karmically..... :excellent:

I was lucky enough to see one of the last shows with Juan in Seattle. It was Halloween, so bonus fun ensued.
