That book kinda sucks.

I'm not really a fan of Dave Hunter. Although he's kinda hard to avoid because his writing's so ubiquitous.

It's alright if you really don't know anything about effects. In which case it's a decent overview.

I think the interviews at the end of the book with pedal builders are the best part of it.

Cool that they represent Kyle on the cover though.

That's the vibe I kinda got from it. For somebody new to effects it'd be good… for people that hang around this forum ILF is a pretty good education/substitute! Would be nice to read the interviews without all the other stuff. :)
