SST gives noise in bypass mode

First off, I love this pedal. One of the most flexible fuzzes I've owned. However, I think I'll need to put it in a bypass loop. Has anyone noticed that with the pedal off (um...supposed to be) in true bypass mode...if you flip the fuzz 2 toggle to "on" on the fix'd side, you can hear fuzz introduced into the signal? Is this pedal not true bypass?

i've never noticed this with mine
i'd say shoot kyle an email. have you noticed any other issues with it? what are you using to power it?
