Finally got a chance to put my new Utt Stut thru it's paces and it's a blast. Taking some trial and error to find out which pedals it likes to play nice with in the loop but so far it's really diggin my wolf computer. (The WC really loves the feedback loop in my SP AE too). Gotta spend more time with it but it's a kick so far. :animal:

Mine does this too. Not a big deal when playing but might be an issue in quiet spots or if you're recording.

now i own both of your pedals. yyyyyeeessss!

someday in the future you will hear them in a track from some super awesome band and you will be satisfied. :thumb:

conner! i think we need to start a special club or something for those who own everyone of my creations :)

at some point it would be fun to put on an Ohnoho show of bands that use the ohnoho gear.

just got my Shady Egghead UTTER STUTTER and its awesome. ive used feedback loops as a stand alone instrument to make noise for a little over a year, and the tremolo controls really add a very cool dimension to the sounds. the art work is great and the unit seem really sturdy.

Lawrence, thanks for making a great product and i cant wait to see what you come up with next. :bob: :thumb:

went out for a wedding. was there for 6 days

my first time in little beirut . such an odd town.

it's built like a big city but not populated like one. in NYC you're never alone on a street, even on labor day. there seemed to be a lot of that in the city of roses. also, a lot of wastoids. obvious tweakers, junkies and just plain weirdos everywhere. in fact i'd say more weirdos per capita than NYC. not a bad thing but definitely fascinating. ya'll protect them.

nyc seems like the smart yet casually dressed older brother to stumptowns younger, slightly aimless yet content sibling. it felt younger at heart there.

cheap booze, video gambling while you drink, strip clubs that don't make you feel like a creepazoid were awesome (never had this experience before). i hit sassy's and union jacks. good music at the strip clubs too!

rode bikes around the willamette. started from the paul bunyon statue and went south around the river. crossed over at the bottom of portland and came back up. great ride. bummed i had to ride a goofy hybrid and not my beloved fixed gear :)

went hiking 9 miles round trip at eagle creek. got my pics taken infront of the mulnomah falls.

ate AWESOME FOOD at pok pok, some place with spoon in the title. has a horrible sandwich at big town hero subs or something. it was a chain.

ended up at http://www.soursound.com/ after the bars closed one night. what a crazy work space! i was in awe. bryan's got an amazing collection of gear. i had an erection just looking at all his old stock resistors.

lot's of over educated and under employed folks make for a very interesting city.

i can't wait to go back

I'd say that you hit it pretty much on the head, especially the under employed educated people. folks who have degrees in English working as bike messengers. I've never visited NYC, but i like Portland a lot. especially the underground music scene. the multitude of unsigned bands playing shows in people basements while the guy who owns the house sells his booze for two dollars a drink.
I'm constantly finding out about new guys who make custom amps or audio gear and do repairs. there's tons. Ive actually never heard of the one that you cite. pretty cool though, i checked it out.

i was just wondering,
when the utter stutter is in my chain, but its off, the vibrato bleeds through if the speed is set lower, if the speed is high it ends up being a higher tone that you can hear. is this normal?

i updated the copy on the site to reflect this a 2 or 3 weeks ago.

seems i only get the bleed thru with my boss metal zone. 2 other fellas mentioned the wolf computer and one other the ps3. i think there are a few variables out there that one can not account for like pick up impedance, dirty power supplies, etc.

try:

a buffered pedal before the UTTR STTTR like a boss tuner to see if that helps
different guitars
different power supplies
different cables

it will def bleed thru with nothing plugged in

i'm working on a redesign tomorrow to see if i can knock it out completely

since i can't test this stuff with every set up combination possible any user feedback will be appreciated.

yo just to add a lil bit on the LFO bleed thru. i recently got a dyna comp to kinda even out my signal a bit. i put the comp at the end of my chain and obviously it brings the bleed thru to a more noticeable level when the DC is turned on,

BUT i actually ended up making some wickedly cool glitchy clicky sounds utilizing the lfo bleed thru. i kinda like it, gives it a weird vibe
