I'd really love to see you review a Supro amp with a 6973 tube.

The few demos of such amps on Youtube are people playing Rolling Stones riffs and nothing else. Or overloading their crappy cellphone's mic while playing it at full volume.

I've seen those before as well. That diamond cut whole for the speaker is so odd and cheap looking. I love it.

Word. I have a circuit board from Watts Audio waiting to turn my (last, broken) Epiphone Valve Jr into a Supro/Silvertone 1481 clone with a 6973 power tube. I should work on that some time... Should be garage rock bliss when cranked. :joy:
