The last Dark Grime Deluxe sold today so i can give the schematic to everyone else.
It just a lightly modified Anderton Super Tone Control into a squichy Fuzz face. Having the Volume between the filter and the fuzz allows for fine tuning of the squishiness.

Production notes:
* A few had 10n Caps for C3/C4
* R4 could range from 12k-18k
*Transistors where a grab-bag of BC108s and BC109s

Build Notes:
*Yep, The resonance knob is backwards. never bothered fixing it.
* There is a fair bit of hiss involved with the TL072, i would try a Ne5532
*Try 20n for C3/C4 for real fun

thanks

What does upping the cap values do? I still haven't laid out a board for the schematic you sent me awhile back. Good reminder to do so! Did you ever try to incorporate the Anderton envelope follower for autowah action?

Upping the caps will accentuate the filter but adds a bit to the whine.

i have not messed with the envelope follower but its on the endless list of circuits to muck with.
