We're opening for Atlas Moth and Mustard Gas & Roses in a couple of weeks, so I've been listening to them. Atlas Moth has a lot of momentum behind them and are improving with each release. Mustard Gas & Roses are on Mylene Sheath records, and my previous band released three records through them, so it's always nice to see some brothers from another mother come through so we can talk shop. Their new record is pretty good. They should stay instrumental, IMO. lol

Dude if you don't know them already go listen to some BJM (Brian Jonestown Massacre), Anton Newcombe (playing in that song you posted) is their guitarist/singer and plays all instruments on most of their recordings. They are really awesome and still touring. (I personally prefer their early stuff but they're still great)

I've personally been into Krautrock lately, jazzy krautrock. Listening to alot of Out of Focus, Guru Guru and Embryo.

I started checking them out Monday after I ran across that song. I'll be listening to more in the near future too, that's good music. BJM is one of those bands I kept hearing about but somehow never got around to listening to. Thanks for the recommendation. :thumb:

Congrats on your band getting that tour. I'm listening to M&G on the Bandcamp link you posted. I didn't know what to expect, but that is surprisingly good!

Oh, it's not the tour - just the show in Kansas City (30 miles west, in Lawrence, KS).
But yeah - they're able to work some kind of standard post-rock chording/riffage into some pretty big impacts. Good head of steam style of arrangements.
