When I was a kid, I think 'The Breaks' off the first Black Keys record really stuck with me coz the vocal sounded so cool and distorted.

I tried this $10 mic through a Dirrrrty Doper and it was glorious!

It's like a broken voice through an old public loudspeaker, heard from quite some distance, exposing a very hypnotic tonality.

I ran a karaoke mic through a Soda Miser once and it sounded pretty rad.

^inspired. time for a feedback jam..with plenty of coffee and paranoia over a slip left on my door saying an official from the government wants to talk with me, sounded like they want my brain or idk but it says "position of trust regarding an individual fitness and suitability" .... gonna go read this slip into some fuzz and sample it lol
