for me SY are more a great idea for a band than a great band. Branca and punk are two great tastes that go great together, but SY had many flaws (a large percentage of which were named "Kim") and never really had the material to go with the concept. Mission of Burma were way more out than SY but had songs that stick in the head too. like Beck, SY's influence on other artists is more interesting than their actual work.
