Oh that was nice!

Love me some EDM, saw them (¿?) performing a few months ago alongside Unwed Sailor, everyone but 6 people missed that show

Howabout the slow decreptitude and disintegration of slum life in London? No one does it better than KIrk Lake and Roy Montgomery

Thanks! We have new recordings coming, soon.
And yea, same attendance when I saw that tour. Our drummer hasn't played with them in years, he was on two older records, so I dont know who their current guy is. They were kind of underwhelming, tbh - Unwed destroyed, though.

Love Roy, hadn't heard this release, glad to have now. Also sleep_debt, liked that too, I used to listen to Early Day Miners a ton, nice to see what you're doing now.

not necessarily slowcore, but i think it fits the bill (i guess technically it's indie-pop/twee?)

Also, I get to see Low tonight. I'm really looking forward to it, I thought the last album had so much potential but fell far short due to overproduction (I really dislike the Bon Iver producer they went with on the past two albums, the live performances of the songs from Double Negative are so much better though I get what the band was trying to achieve in the studio).

can't pick a favorite low album (i could live in hope vs. curtain meets the cast vs. secret name) but this might be my favorite albini-engineered album.

Are there any slowcore mathrock bands? I want angular melodies and awkward rhythms, but at like half the speed. :snax:

Some of them dabble a bit... American Football and Bedhead are probably the closest if we're sticking to the slowcore aesthetic. Do Make Say Think's earlier stuff can be a bit mathy and slow, albeit a bit more cinematic than what you'd expect of either genre. Don Caballero have some tracks that might fall under that. :)
