If want medieval metal that is not some silly larping troll themed mess:

If you want black metal that is far out and evil in truly unique ways:

Certainly wouldn't call myself a doom guy by any means, but have been really into Dragged Into Sunlight for years. Remember them playing in Liverpool years ago, they were just a local band then who wore balaclavas and refused to face the audience. Now they're an internationally touring, recognised and successful metal band who wear balaclavas and refuse to face the audience. Volcanic Birth is platinum tier in the world of loud music as far as I'm concerned.

Not for nothing but, I'm glad I posted it because it reminded me how much I love that album. Soundtrack to the holidays 2017. Cause nothing says spending time with family like listening to an album called "Hatred For Mankind"

Did I say PRIMITIVE MAN ? Cause everybody should check that out (can't emphasize that enough, thanks POPE)!
EDITOR'S NOTE: I have three CDs in my car right now. PRIMITIVE MAN - 'Caustic', DYSTOPIA - 'Human = Garbage', and Doug Tuttle (You know him as Doug Deeper) - Peace Potato [everyone should check out the updated ClariNOT!)

Indeed it does. They're great live, too.

And actually I picked up their full length on cassette a couple of weeks ago. :thumb:
