I would very much like to rip-off this band in the future:

Yeah, that's a rarity these days. BK lives in NYC with his wife now and James is from Florida.

Last City was amazing. And it is impressive Loma is still kicking but Self Portrait was a hard listen.

not sure why james replaced jake on bass. that was my dude. hung with them in mi. nice dudes.

need more beau navire in this thread.
also. portraits of past rips.

I had just been listening to that on Sunday when I saw your post. I like the neo-classical vibe of the leads and interludes on this, such a tight band.

I think these guys throw a bit too many ingredients into the cauldron, but this is a good record in the category of more polished metal/screamo with clean parts (although I think the occasional male/female vocals are too sweetly sung):

been listening to Eyelet a lot lately:

Here is a new band that is reminiscent of some old bands, but it's still.. a new band. The second part of this double 7" album is apparently out now, Zegema Beach/Time as a Color.

I’m not great at forum-ing and thus don’t know how to post videos, but there are a couple of newer/active bands that are killing it currently. Ostraca, Youth Funeral, Portrayal Of Guilt, The Heads Are Zeros, Closet Witch, thisismenotthinkingofyou....yeah. I guess check some of those if you haven’t.

That was sweet! Some of it was a little reminiscent of La Quiete, which I was stoked about, but I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing regardless. Kudos! What's with the long songs, though? One of them was nearly two minutes!
