Hit me with your best noisy, nasty electronica

Postby More_Divebombs » Sun Jun 18, 2017 11:59 am

I want it all. Anything inclusive of one or all of: Harsh heavy industrial beats, grimy distorted bass/synth, glitchy noise, sample heavy sound collages, evil dark ambience. What you got?

Bonus points for anything hip hop orientated like Dalek, Tokyo Death Watch, Techno Animal etc What you got?

Ear shattering walls of sound, or subtle glitchy minimalism. Just not pure noise stuff. It's gotta have beats, rhythms, breaks etc. WOT U GOT?!

B L A C K I E
Moor Mother
Clipping

& Show Me The Body isn't very synthy but could be in the ballpark you're looking in.

I am all about B L A C K I E. Still a bit undecided on Clipping.

I've not heard the other two, so I will look out some stuff right now :thumb:

CONTAINER (more techno)
PETE SWANSON (more techno)
SKARN (more techno)
VATICAN SHADOW (more industrial)

Hate to say it but I still love the first JUSTICE album (Cross) and the latest MSTRKRFT. Despite how popular 'Cross' is, still every bit nasty and cut up.

There are tons of labels that specialize in singles. Stroboscopic Artefacts is an awesome label. Limited Interest is a newer one.

I just listened to some aggressively left wing techno. I burned it to a CD and I lost it. If I find it, I will post that too.
"SWIPE LEFT ASSHOLE!" -retinal orbita
"Whatever ASSHOLE here’s my pedal that makes humpback whale noises and also it has a built in sequencer so stick it in your craw! -retinal orbita
"Patty Mullen takes me from a ball peen to a sledge" -The Great Velvet Hammer
"...at this exact moment Divine has learned of your jealous scheme from the local town gossip. She also has your address, ASS HOLE!" -Narrator (Mr. J) PINK FLAMINGOS

Also I found this other French guy the other day who goes by The Toxic Avenger, it's a bit more house-y, but kinda dark and dirty.

Dude, cross is one of my favourite albums of all time. Often imitated, never bettered.

Thanks for all the names so far.

Loads to hammer through. I'll be all over everything named tomorrow morning. There's a couple I've heard, but most of it is new to me.

Also digging this record by Machine Girl, who are new to me.

I caught them on the second world tour, the one that ended up being the AAA album. Fucking brutal. Stress? Man... I took my little brother when he was about 15, it was his first ever proper gig.
