Honestly, I was surprised when you said you the interview put you off ha-ha. I know you're into Harsh Noise Wall and THE RITA is one of the few that puts a ton of critical/academic thought into it. I'm a big fan of his 'Ballet' Period so to speak (as opposed to walls built with Shark of Giallo film sound sources [which I love as well]).

I tried to skim it during lunch yesterday rather than actually read it so I missed the point a bit. Am excited to dive into the catalog.

I really hope you weren't older than 16 when you made this mistake...
No. I'm just being a dick. I loved their first album when it came out. And any band that gets folks hooked on the harder side of music is alright in my books.

I was all of 13
and inadvertently was into more "extreme" music before that. I listen to a lot of garbage now at 27 though. I had to tell my colleague the other day I 'not ironically' listen to GG Allin.

The Rita is pure and total harsh art. Sam is just incredible at being creative in a genre that is by definition limiting. I love all areas of his work but his ballet period is just incredible. Medora is really top notch and the last DLP on Urashima is just incredible. I have nothing but absolute and total respect for The Rita.

Not sure if I've said it before but the new Ulver is a winner.

I lost it and sadly don't have pictures. It was an unfortunate week that week V
V. I want to make another one though. It was this as back size (for a medium size dude) patch.
I do have two pretty sweet WOLF EYES shirts though...

Pretty over the 70's cosplay side of doom but the slow oppressive stuff is still very much my jam and this album is such a banger:
