Benoît Pioulard - Slow spark, soft spoke
Don't normally go for this kind of wafty guitar ambient stuff, but the preview track on this grabbed me:
https://dauw.bandcamp.com/album/slow-spark-soft-spoke

Tokiomi - Secret Stash
Again I don't normally go for this style of beats / clicks n cuts mishmash ambient synth thing and stuff. But whatever, give it a try
http://adsrmusic.ca/album/secret-stash

Various - Soviet Luxury Club 001
Acid. More old school rave style than the current 'braindance' style. Likey!
https://sovietluxuryclub.bandcamp.com/a ... y-club-001

Jamal H - Acid test
Way more contemporary UK acid style, huge similarities to Factory Floor.

^^^I regret not checking out the above reqs. I luv acid m8. I was into a lot of the material coming out of Berlin for like a month. Ever here of JUNE?

LIGHTEN UP SOUNDS -> One of the few tape labels that I still am on the mailing list for. I've purchased (imo) some very cool niche things from them. The releases that came in on an E-mail blast recently seem to be aligned with noisy beats and harsher synth punk, both of which I enjoy. I'll be exploring these sounds soon.

There's tons of acid in this thread! It's all me though. Kinda stopped updating for lack of effort HOWEVER at the very least it serves as a reminder of what I've bought and when so I'll do a mega update here.
Also will check out Lighten Up Sounds - always good to hear of tape labels that aren't bandcamp centric.

AMBIENT/EASY LISTENING ELECTRONIC:
Jogging House - 'From' - I mostly like this stuff but sometimes it really irks me, like being stuck on a sky tv menu screen.
https://seilrecords.bandcamp.com/album/from

r beny - cascade symmetry / full blossom of the evening / saudade
Took a minute to get into this, but I like it in a similar way to Hainbach, has that kind of blissfully painful thing going on. Awkward/beautiful etc.
https://rbeny.bandcamp.com/album/cascade-symmetry
https://rbeny.bandcamp.com/album/full-b ... he-evening
https://rbeny.bandcamp.com/

Hainbach - Burderkrieg - classic Hainbach, more a return to the style I like (mostly Ciat lonbarde case setup I believe)
https://hainbach.bandcamp.com/album/bruderkrieg

Nathan Moody - Études III: Red Box - I liked this a lot better than the white box one, I became obsessed with verbos/buchla just before this came out so it's a nice release that caters to that, more droney, slow rhythmic things going on rather than the crazy fast buchla bongo school of things.
https://nathanmoody.bandcamp.com/album/ ... ii-red-box

Sean Julian - Sounds of the Birch Forest - Buchla music easel and field recordings. Very nice, a bit more of a 'journey' than I was expecting and more field recording based that I was expecting either, pleasantly surprised.
https://tiep.bandcamp.com/album/sounds- ... rch-forest

Alessandro Cortini - Avanti - He's basically very good at the incredibly repetitive slowly evolving Buchla thing right? Tape itself sounds very nice - it's a Pias factory thing (no idea who they actually use to make their tapes) but the quality is definitely a notch above the norm in terms of depth of sound.

ACID / TECHNO:

Special Olympic Acid - Acid Tape 01 / Acid Tape 02 - I have come to discover that this kind of brand of minimal and lo-fi acid is probably my favourite. This guys tracks are ace, simple, to the point head nodding 303 riffs with raw drum machines.
https://virtualurbanrecords.bandcamp.co ... id-tape-01
https://virtualurbanrecords.bandcamp.co ... id-tape-02

Duran Duran Duran - Bolo Trax - Frantic acid-y idm breakcore techno-y wtf-ness. Nice.
https://tripalium.bandcamp.com/album/dms020-bolo-trax

Palace Lido - Concrete - distorted techno drums and occasional acid. Nice for a zone out, or to listen to on the bus and be reminded that you live in a consumerist hellish nightmare of a city.
https://czaszka.bandcamp.com/album/concrete

UTA Trax - Rally 626 - Old school acid / rave style. Again, lo-fi, simple, effective. I love it! They want it to be your driving soundtrack, I can attest that it works very well for that.
https://helaudio.bandcamp.com/album/rally-626

Ceephax Acid Crew - Ceeland - Got a notification from discogs that I set up ages ago that one of these had come on sale in mint condition, so I bought it. The A-side of this tape is Ceephax's early recordings interspersed with interview snippets of proto-chavs from Chelmsford, Essex which is my hometown, so this feels kind of special to me as a strong link to my upbringing and reminder of where I've come from to where I am now. The B-side is some noise/drone thing which is quite odd from Ceephax, but I enjoyed it. Totaly contrast to the A side. Needless to the say the A side acid is impeccable.
https://ceephax.bandcamp.com/album/ceeland

MISCELLANEOUS
Hailu Mergia - Tche Belew - Ran across this by chance, I love ethio jazz (those ethiopiques comps from a while back were killer), and saw someone mention this had Mulatu Astatke on a few tracks. Read the blurb, had a brief listen and was sold. Waiting for tape to arrive.
https://hailumergia.bandcamp.com/album/tche-belew

Langham Research Centre - Tape Works Vol. 1 - I can't remember how I came across this but this is a group dedicated to performing classical electronic works via the original technqiues (tape machines, sine wave oscillators etc). The music sounds ace! The label also sells a book about the current 'alt-classic' (yucky name) scene in London. Might grab that too as it looks quite interesting, the sort of off-classical stuff I've caught in the city over the past decade has been really excellent, so would be good to learn more of it's roots etc.

I'm glad you like it! I've bought some reissues and some psych noise from them in the past. I like the direction they seem to be taking.

Have we talked about CEEPHAX before? I was (am?) a huge fan for a while. Haven't kept up with his recent output (post 2014).

This is JUNE btw. You may recognize this track if you're a DJ SPRINKLES fan.

Nope! I haven't either - I'm not so massively keen on the fairground-esque cartoony elements, more the lo-fi acid and hardcore (hardcore esplanade!!).

Just finished my own album for my label. It’s a mish-mash of psychedelic pop, drones, ambient, and sound collage run through a handful of pedals and tapes. You can grab a tape now that ships out of the States!

Strange but cool to see UTA Trax on here, they're from my hometown (Salt Lake City). Magazine I write for did a feature on them a few months back.
