H. J. Freaks is a monster bassist, once you get past the frilly skirts. HIs usual schtick is doing rearrangements of anime songs and he makes everything like 20 times funkier, which I appreciate.

This isn't news to anybody, but I enjoy coming back to it from time to time....

I always have had troubled relationship with GG. Sometimes i love them, sometimes i just can't stand more than two songs.
I really have to be in the right mood.

Been listening a lot to Jade Warrior recently. Was sort of familiar with their earlier records, but their later ones turned out to be even better.

Classick :success:

Samla Mammas Manna--Måltid

Eivind--I had the reverse discovery process from you with JW. My preference for "era" seems to shift with the vagaries of time and the weather

Chank--I spent years searching for that Bad Religion, I think because of Chuck Eddy, damn his eyes, but true to their [titling] words, time and disregard buried it well. Thank you youtube, for saving me from more futile searching and buying BR boxsets  Listening to it makes me want to bust out Atomic Rooster, Lucifer's Friend and mid-7Ts Sab.... Also, Here & Now def should've gotten a bigger share of the attention Ozric Tentacles "derived" from them....

Yeah, both eras are great, but those later albums, particularly Floating World and Waves, are fantastic.

Oh, and let's get some more old scandi prog up in here:

The Italians are, arguably, the "Kings of Prog"! :!!!:

(… and not like that isn't a great album or anything, but I think that's at least the third time it's been posted in this thread.   )

BUT even the kings of BAD PROG.
(not talking about Museo Rosenbach at all, I think we already took some examples of bad Italian stuff a few pages back)

Agreed. Not all prog can be good prog. (Especially with the overwhelmingly great output of Italian progsters.) :idk:
