If you're not familiar, the Deutches Karthago from the early 7Ts, not the (better known? ) Hungarian band from the 8Ts. This one is all proto--an unholy goulash (to cross-reference the Hungarian) that resulted when these wise-asses crossed the streams of Quicksilvery 6Ts Cali jam-bandage, proto-fusion both euro- (a la Wigwam) and southern-style (a la Sea Level) and pre-In Rock purple classical rifferama, not failing to throw in 8-bar segments redolent of ELP, Procol Harum, a yet-to-come Kansas, Santana and Freddie Fender; and were promptly blown to stewed chunks by the justly offended guardian gods of classic rock. An aural spinal tap for your Tuesday afternoon; listen at your own risk.
