Not really jazz, but has a sort of soul/jazzy feeling; quite possibly one of the best reinterpretations I've ever heard.

Are you sure? Where from?

Everywhere tells me Codona didn't form until 1978. :idk:

See, that's what everybody wants you to think, and that's why it's so hard to find the boots where they run through the entire 'Rising' album, with Don sing-song chanting
"High noon, oh I'd sell my soul for water
Nine years worth of breakin' my back
There's no sun in the shadow of the wizard
See how he glides, why he's lighter than air
Oh I see his face!"
while Colin runs neo-classical picking exercises on his sitar :idk:

What, like ECM was going to press that?

Took 'em a while to re-direct after Manfred put the kibosh on the Kill the King/Still I'm Sad 12-inch disco remix medley

Anyway, it beats Shakti covering Montrose :snax:

Woot woot, love me some fine Chico (and that Elysian jawn you posted further up).

Ah, the fine art of drum head tuning--I want a drummer like that. Chico one of the under-rated drummers and composer/leaders imo.
